Going to the dentist
Use the guidelines below for what you should know and do when going to the dentist.
- Visit www.CignaEnvoy.com to find an in-network provider.
- Present your ID card when you arrive for your appointment.
- Do not pay at the time of service ― wait for the office to submit your claim to Cigna so your in-network discounts can be applied. In-network preventive care is covered at 100%. You may need to pay a copayment at the time of service for services beyond preventive care.
- The dental office submits your claim to Cigna for payment for in-network care. If you receive out-of-network or international care, you may be responsible for submitting the claims yourself. Read more.
- You will receive a bill from your dentist office after the Plan has applied its discount for any services not covered. Pay this bill.
