MYBENEFITS ONLINE: SET YOURSELF UP TO RECEIVE INFORMATION
To receive text message notifications, take the following steps:
- Log on to MyBenefits Online.
- Under the drop-down menu with your name at the top, select the My Information link.
- Once you’re on the Profile page, verify that the mobile phone number shown in the Phone section is the one you’d like to use for text messaging purposes.
- Scroll to the Text Message Notifications section, and then select the box to opt in to receiving text message notifications. After you do, be sure to select your mobile phone number listed for text message notifications, and then select SAVE.
If your mobile phone number isn’t shown, or the number listed is not the one you’d like to use for text messaging purposes, select CANCEL on MyBenefits Online. Then, log on to Workday to add/edit your mobile phone number.
Once in Workday, go to the Keep Your Home Contact Information Updated section of the home page and select Update Contact Info. Under the Change Home Contact Information – Phone box, select the Add button if you’re adding a number (or the Edit pencil icon if you’re making a change). Be sure to select “Mobile – Personal” as your “Phone Type” in the drop-down menu before adding/editing your phone number for text messaging purposes. Once you hit the “Submit” button in Workday, please allow at least seven to 10 business days before MyBenefits Online reflects your change. You can then opt into text messaging on MyBenefits Online by following the steps above.
By signing up for text message alerts, you’ll receive a text message whenever new information is published. Don’t miss out!
Check your home and email addresses too
Make sure your home and email addresses are up to date in Workday. This data automatically transfers over to your profile on MyBenefits Online. Making sure your information is correct will help ensure you receive benefit and well-being related communications. You can also set a preferred email address on MyBenefits Online (for example, if you don’t have or don’t want to receive benefit and well-being information at your Company email address).
