Your enrollment steps
1. Connect to the Dow U.S. Benefits Site
Single sign-on is recommended for quick and convenient access if you are on the Dow network.
If you are away from the Dow network, you can log in directly. If you haven't visited from outside the Dow network previously, you'll need to establish a new online account. On the sign-in screen, select “Create an account.” The system will then walk you through the account setup process. If you need assistance, call (833) 693-6947 (MYDOWHR).
2. Make your choices
On the Dow U.S. Benefits Site homepage, select the option to enroll from the top notification bar. The site is designed with you in mind. It will walk you through making your elections with smart tools to help you make smart choices. This includes Help Me Choose and Selection Analysis. Learn more.
3. Complete your enrollment
Once you finish making your choices, you will see an enrollment confirmation screen. The confirmation screen is verification that your elections were saved and applied. You can print it for your records. You will also receive a confirmation notice via email (typically sent within one hour). There is no need to call to verify your elections were saved.
Keep in mind, you can make changes to certain benefits during the year only if you have a qualifying life event.
Other actions to take when you enroll
- Verify your spouse/domestic partner for medical coverage. It's required every year even if you don't make changes. If you skip the verification, your spouse/domestic partner will not have Dow coverage. Learn more.
- Review and update your dependents (who have coverage under the plan) as needed. Be sure to consider the age of your child(ren).
- Don't forget your beneficiaries. As you enroll in Dow plans and programs, remember to designate your beneficiaries (if you haven't already) and review them periodically to ensure they remain up to date. Read more.
If you or one of your eligible family members is under age 65 and Medicare eligible due to a permanent disability or end stage renal disease (ESRD), it is important to ensure eligibility is on file since it may impact available benefit options.
